Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were quite dated with no air-conditioning, but they were spacious and had a lovely view of the lake. The service was generally good but a bit slow at check-in. The location was convenient for exploring Tokyo and near the Shinkansen station, though a bit far from the outlet mall. The dining options were average and overpriced. The facilities were decent overall.
The log house I stayed in was well-maintained, and the toilet was clean with a hot shower, making it a comfortable stay. The entryway to the room was welcoming, but it took some time to obtain a morning tee-time at the Karuizawa 72 Golf Course. The hotel is situated near the Outlet mall, offering convenient access, although it's not in an urban area. The dining experience was decent but could use more western options. Overall, a good value for a stay with easy access to shopping and outdoor activities.
